Botkin Chiarello Calaf welcomes Travis Maples as an associate on our commercial litigation team, where he will handle business, intellectual property, and employment disputes.

"Travis's remarkable legal acumen and penchant for diving into the intricacies of complex cases make him an invaluable addition to our team,” said Jennifer Rappoport Colimon, the firm’s managing partner. “We are excited to welcome him and confident his expertise will further elevate the caliber of legal service we provide our clients."

Travis earned his law degree in 2019 from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Texas Law Review and provided pro bono legal services through the law school’s Domestic Violence Clinic. After law school, he clerked at both the Supreme Court of Texas and the Court of Criminal Appeals, the state’s two highest courts.

"I'm happy to be part of a team of exceptionally skilled and seasoned attorneys, and I look forward to collaborating with them to provide the highest level of service to our clients," Travis said.

Before attending law school, Travis received his bachelor’s degree in English Rhetoric, summa cum laude, in 2016 from Texas A&M University. When he’s not practicing law, Travis is an avid gamer with a particular dedication to Dungeons & Dragons. He also enjoys drumming and bouldering.
