We are proud to announce that, as of January 1, Botkin Chiarello Calaf name partner Ryan Botkin has stepped into the role of managing partner. He succeeds Jennifer Rappoport Colimon, who served as the firm’s first managing partner in 2023.

Name partner Katherine Chiarello was elected managing partner-elect.

"Jennifer has given us rock-solid leadership and really set us up for success in our founding year. She’s been a visionary leader, and the partners and I are so grateful for everything she’s done," Ryan said. "Going forward, I’m committed to building on this strong foundation while we chart a course for the future. We’ll continue to be innovative in our approach to client issues, progressive in our mindset, and committed to building a diverse team. I’m really excited about the path forward.”

Ryan, a seasoned litigator and advisor to the technology and emerging company community, has been recognized as one of the leading lawyers in his field by Texas Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. He’s also served as a leader of numerous legal and community organizations, including the Federal Bar Association, Lloyd Lochridge Inn of Court, City of Austin Charter Review Commission, Texas Bar Foundation, State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee, and University of Texas School of Law.

She has also been honored by Texas Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, and Austin Monthly magazine’s list of Austin’s Top Attorneys for her excellent work.

"I'm honored to serve as managing partner-elect,” Katherine said. “We have a strong team with a shared vision, and I'm looking forward to the firm's continued success in the years to come."
