María Amelia Calaf Presents on Trade Secrets at Advanced Intellectual Property Law Course

Botkin Chiarello Calaf partner María Amelia Calaf (MAC) is among a select group of presenters sharing their expertise at the 39th Annual Advanced Intellectual Property Law Course on February 12.
MAC will present on trade secrets laws with a focus on how to protect artificial intelligence technology and its components under the existing statutory trade secrets framework.
“As AI becomes more widely adopted, understanding trade secret principles becomes key for companies wanting to effectively protect their trade secrets,” MAC said. “The questions created by AI are many, which is why we are working to keep clients ahead of the curve.”
MAC will deliver her insights on the first day of the two-day legal education (CLE) conference co-sponsored by the Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. Attorneys from across the state attended the annual TexasBarCLE program to learn the latest developments in copyright, trademark, and patent law.
